With a Master Degree in Software Engineering for Industrial Application and a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Ashok Dudhat started his career journey back in 2009, gaining tech and marketing skills along the way. A true entrepreneur, he created the Tech Jobs Fair in 2017 with a clear vision: “To help companies with their branding and recruiting, as well as building a tech ecosystem worldwide”.

After Berlin, other cities followed: Vienna, Zurich and Lisbon. As of the beginning of 2021, due to the current pandemic situation, TJF is organizing virtual events across the globe in a total of 14 countries, including the UK.

TJF UK – how it works

The first edition of TJF UK is taking place on May 27th from 13h to 19h and it will be hosted by Airmeet, an all-in-one platform which recreates the feeling of a physical fair, and it is a free event.

Participants can navigate seamlessly through its four main areas – Reception, Sessions, Lounge and Arena – and have different opportunities to network with other attendees and companies.

Reception

The place where an overview of the event can be found, along with all the partners involved in the event.

Sessions

This is where the schedule of the talks from the keynote speakers can be found. Participants are encouraged to comment, ask questions and even raise hands to ask their questions on stage.

Booths

The exhibitor hall, where all exhibitor companies are listed. This is where attendees and companies can have face-to-face conversations. Participants are encouraged to take a seat at a free table and wait for the next available person to come and start a chat with them.

Lounge

The main networking area, where all participants can gather around the networking tables and talk to each other via chat and video.

Besides the company exhibitor’s hall, the conference space is accessible to all participants throughout the day, with keynotes from different backgrounds attending – from life coaches and career mentors to digital marketing experts or tech gurus. “The Tech Jobs Fair gathers some of the most inspiring speakers in the tech scene, which makes it a valuable learning opportunity”, Ashok Dudhat says.

The line-up for TJF UK includes names such as Onyi Anyado, Life Coach and Mentor, Mona Ahluwalia, People Manager at We Got POP, Barry Rodrigues, Growth Marketer and Investor, Juliana Rabbi, Career Coach, Gosia Syta, Personal Impact Expert, Dietmar Dahmen, Motivator, Consultant, Entrepreneur, Margaret Buj, Talent Acquisition Manager, Career blogger, Leyla F Kahara, Social Entrepreneur, Stuti Singh, Coach, Consultant, and Mariia Kogan, Co-Chair of Mentoring & Support group at Women of Westminster, among others.

Recruiting, branding and networking

TJF is open to all professionals who are looking for career growth, discovering great ideas, meeting inspiring people and also fresh graduates who want to give wings to their dreams. The fair is a great opportunity for job seekers and employers to find the best from the available resources, meet face to face and make personal connections.

Thus far, TJF counts more than 25,000 visitors to date and aspires to reach 100,000 by 2022. Companies are able to assess professionals – from students, to junior and senior professionals – and make better decisions when it comes to recruitment.

The fair also includes a dedicated networking area, where all participants can grow their connections via the speed one-on-one networking tool or in group conversations at the virtual tables.
