The contest invites all students currently studying (including 6th form, University, and online courses) with a head for business to submit a written business pitch of no more than 1000 words to a panel of judges for evaluation. The Mint Formations judges are seeking ideas with real market potential, while also being new, refreshing and innovative. The key factor driving the decision process is finding new and upcoming talent worth investing in.

The winner of the contest will receive £1000, which they can put towards their studies or starting up their dream enterprise. This prize aims to help the winner achieve their goals, which means Mint Formations offer them the freedom to invest their winnings in whatever avenue they believe will make that happen.

Full details are available here: https://www.mintformations.co.uk/student-contest/.

Contest deadline looms

The competition has been live and available for all students to enter since November 1st, 2019. In that time, the team at Mint Formations have seen an array of exciting entries. However, the judges are keen to see even more individuals enter for their chance to win before the deadline closes on midnight February 28th, 2020.

Entries after the deadline will not be accepted, but any submissions prior will be viewed and judged on the same merits as the earliest of entries. The time frame does not impact your potential to win the award, so if you’ve only just heard about the contest and are interested in entering, now is your opportunity to send Mint Formations your pitch and potentially snag the £1000 prize.

The Mint Formations team closely monitors the competition email address (competition@mintformations.co.uk), so any queries students may have before entering can be submitted for a guaranteed response before the deadline. The contest has already been widely shared across the United Kingdom and the United States, with support coming from prestigious establishments including Oxford University, The University of Manchester, and Imperial College London.

Please note evidence of enrollment is required for entry. Prospective students can also enter if they are due to start a course within the next year, but proof acceptance is needed. This contest is free to enter, and contact details will only be used for information sharing related directly to the competition. Entrants will not be contacted for marketing purposes following the end of the contest.
